Burn Planning Capacity

Burn Plan for intentional fires is a bottle neck in Santa Barbara County. There is a need for professionals who can write burn plans overall and a need for burn plan preparers who have an indigenous perspective and knowledge on burning for both cultural purposes and fuel reduction. The ultimate goal is to create a burn plan business staffed with professionals with seed money/investment to grow the business, ultimately contributing burn plan capacity to the region in general and for cultural burning.
